My name's Rachael Ellis and I'm a Graphic Designer based in Horley, Surrey. I have just finished a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Communication at the University for the Creative arts in Farnham, specialising in Printed Media.
I'm established in Craft and Technology, as well as developing design work for print I enjoy book binding and screen printing. I am always keen to expand into other areas such as html/css. I'm most experienced in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign which I use for different projects depending on the brief at hand.
I used Illustrator to create the map I produced for the 'Mapping the Territory' brief building up layers of my photographs and changing the opacity. Photoshop was what I used for promoting the typeface Baskerville where I

arranged every letter to interlink with each other before screen printing the final piece.
I enjoy photography and try to incorporate it into my work, I have achieved this with my Cookbook and Magazine Design's. These were both produced using Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator.
This site has been developed to publicise a selection of the work I've produced and to provide an opportunity for the viewer to gain an inside look into my thought processes throughout creating new work with regular updates in my blog. If you have any questions about any work you see or general queries please don't hesitate to get in touch via email or on twitter.
I'm available for freelance work, but I'm also currently looking for a job or an internship within Graphic Design.
